IN MEMORY OF ANDREW, CAROLYN, and GLADYS WIERENGA

Andrew (left) and Gladys (right) were brother and sister to my wife Dixie; Carolyn (center) was Andrew’s wife. They died in a car accident on 11 August 1963. Andrew (25) and Carolyn (28) had been married a little more than three years, and they were expecting their second child. Their 2-year-old son Mark was not with them at the time, and he soon became a member of Dixie’s and my family. Gladys (23) was to be married to Jerry Joldersma four days after she tragically died. Her fiancé survived.

To help keep their memories alive for more recent generations, especially Andrew and Carolyn’s son Mark and his wife Debbie, as well as their children, I have collected and uploaded as many photos as I could find.
